Some great weather on the Gold Coast lately has provided the perfect beach setting for all recent learn to surf lessons. We have been running some FUN lessons at the Southport Spit lately, we have had to move our lessons to this location because of the lack of good sand banks at Main Beach. This has been fun for all participants, going on a short surf adventure, strapping the boards to the roof jumping in the van and going to search for waves.
Water temp is hanging around 20 degrees, it's super clear, the winds have been light and the waves have been small.
September school holidays will be upon us soon and we will be running a kids holiday surf camp, plus regular daily lessons, for more info keep checking our website www.firstwavesurfing.com.au

Has the usual deck depressions but bottom is clean and board is generally in good condition.

Although we had one coldest winter mornings this decade during the week, it's no excuse, winter waves are perfect on the Gold Coast and provide awesome conditions for learning to surf.
